Is Resumify really free?

Yes. Account creation, generating CVs and cover letters, switching templates, and PDF downloads are all free. We may introduce optional paid tiers later, but existing users will be told first.

Will my CV pass ATS (applicant tracking systems)?

Our templates are built with parseable single-column layouts and standard section headers, which is what most ATS parsers prefer. We also show you a keyword-match score against the job description so you can see which terms from the JD are missing from your CV. We can't guarantee any specific ATS — different companies use different parsers — but the structure is designed to be ATS-friendly.

How does the LinkedIn auto-fill work?

Paste a public LinkedIn URL and we'll try to scrape your profile and pre-fill the form. LinkedIn aggressively blocks bots, so it doesn't always work. If it fails, the simplest fallback is to open your LinkedIn page, select all, copy, and paste it into the 'LinkedIn profile content' textarea — the AI extracts everything from that text just as well.

Does the AI lie about my experience?

It can. Large language models occasionally invent details that sound plausible. Always read every line of a generated CV before sending it to an employer. We surface the source text and the generated output side-by-side so you can verify quickly.

Question 5

What happens to my data?

Accepted Answer

Your CV content is stored in our database so you can access it from any device, and sent to the AI provider (Google Gemini, via Lovable AI Gateway) only to generate output for you. We don't sell data and we don't use it to train any model. See the full Privacy Policy for details.

Question 6

Can I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Go to the account page and use 'Delete account'. This permanently removes your profile and every saved CV. The action cannot be undone.

Can I export to Word (.docx)?

Accepted Answer

PDF export is supported today. Word export for CVs is on the roadmap; the cover letter generator already supports DOCX.

Question 8

Do you support languages other than English?

Accepted Answer

The AI can read and write in most major languages — paste your details in any language and ask for output in the target language. UI is English-only for now.
